Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our artisanal tiles and delivery process.
How should I calculate how many tiles I need for my project?
We recommend measuring your total square footage and adding a 10-15% buffer for cuts, waste, and potential future repairs. For complex patterns like herringbone, a 15% wastage allowance is highly advised.
Do you offer samples before I place a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering samples. Since our tiles are handmade, natural variations in color and texture are expected. Samples help you see the authentic finish under your specific lighting conditions.
What is the typical lead time for delivery?
In-stock items are usually dispatched within 3-5 business days. For bespoke or out-of-stock handmade tiles, lead times can range from 6 to 12 weeks depending on the complexity of the design.
Do I need to seal my tiles?
Most of our encaustic cement and natural stone tiles are porous and require professional-grade sealing both before and after grouting to protect against stains and moisture.
What is your return policy for over-ordered tiles?
We accept returns on full, unopened boxes within 14 days of delivery. Please note that a restocking fee may apply, and the customer is responsible for arranging return shipping to our warehouse.
Are your tiles suitable for underfloor heating?
Yes, the majority of our ceramic, porcelain, and cement tiles are compatible with underfloor heating systems, provided they are installed with the correct flexible adhesive and grout.
